RESEARCH REFLECTION REPORT & PRESENTATION

For the final task, we are to write a research reflection report together with the compilation of our tasks. Additionally, we are also assigned to summarize it in the form of slides and record ourselves presenting.

Week 13
Specific Feedback:
Dr. Hayati mentioned my critical review assignment just met the minimum requirements as I only briefly described it. I could work on it if I have time provided that I focus and finish the final assignment first. She suggested I add observational studies of my selected video advertisements into my research methods.

Week 14
Specific Feedback:
Dr. Hayati briefed us on the way to write our reflection report and the structures that we can go about it.
For example,
  • introduction>compilation>reflection>introduce to the next section
  • this flow helps to tell the reader to navigate the report
  • put screencaps/attach the pdf

She also gave some tips to write the reflection:
  • Research Limitations
  • Modifications made
  • Likes/Dislikes
  • Challenges faced
  • Self-Experience etc.

Overall, she mentions that we should write this report in a way that can be easily digested by someone who has no clue about my research at all.

It's also important that we take note of the industry requirements and explore how we can showcase our value through our project.  The task following this briefing is to narrow down our ideas into a proposal in the next class. We are to share it with Mr. Asrizal before he assigns us to the right supervisor. Film Studies and Cinematography - Final Project

31 May 2022 - 10 July 2022 (Week 10 - Week 15) Zetie Binti Bahaman / 0351297 / BDCM Film Studies & Cinematography Final Project - 20sec Animated Trailer INSTRUCTIONS Final Project In the final project, we are to produce an animated trailer of our original short animation story with sound as voice-over, sound effects and music; to tell a compelling story based on  Projects 1 and 2.  Progression 1. Selected Shots After multiple changes, I finally have a storyboard with 6 selected shots to start animating with.  Fig 1.0 Selected Shots 2. Animatic Upon selecting the shots from Project 2, I am assigned to produce a rough animatic. This will ease the process of animating the scenes later on.
